HAPPY EASTER!!!!

And here we have our Easter decorations! I saw it in Better Home and Garden. They had cuter plants and cacti though. All I had on hand was wheat berries. Hee Hee! It turns out my red food coloring is more of an orange and my purple was pretty brownish. It's fun to color just the shell because then it colors the inside and out. Thanks Marin for the dirt!

Growing up, Easter was a perfect excuse for mom to make us all dresses (back then it was cheaper). I loved getting new dresses that were covered in pretty spring flowers. (I was about to publish this post when I thought of a few pictures I thought would be funny to share. Here are Natalie's Easter dresses through the years. I don't know how to use our scanner so I took a picture of the photos from my scrapbook with my camera, so they are a little weird)
Natalie and Arick, my oldest sister, out on the swing set. I still have that goofy smile. It's almost like someone said "Natalie show me all the teeth in your mouth" and then I did it while smiling.
We actually got bunnies for Easter!!! Leslie trying to keep her bunny in, Natalie worried about her new gift and Deirdre able to keep her bunny in.
Here we are with animals again. Natalie with the freakin chicken. Who cuddles with chickens? I do I guess! Leslie with Bobby (my cat), Deirdre holding a chicken the way they should be held and Steven our neighbor with Molly.
Here's the dress with all the spring flowers on it! I loved that dress!
