Clouds

Have I told you how much I love clouds? They are the best. My husband makes fun of me. Maybe it's since I moved to WA from AZ. Here in WA they usually are gray and sad looking. But then, when we have a beautiful day with blue sky and a few white fluffy clouds it just makes them that much more special and beautiful to me. Ava and I were on a walk and I took this picture. I could not resist. Doesn't the cloud look celestial? I love it!Funny tree to the far right, huh! It reminds me of Dr Seuss!

Mobile pics of Ava

I'm always pulling out my phone to take pictures of the girl so here are my favorites from the last month.
Ava loves to be made into the bed!
Falling asleep with her feet up!
In her bunny suite my friend Kathy got for her!
Playing cards with mom! We get a little board sometimes!

Sun Glasses

Ava has a clogged tear duct! Sooo there is not much you can do except massage it with a warm wash clothe and wait for her to get bigger so the duct gets bigger and the clogging-ness moves through. Anyways, I was reading about it and it said wind and too much sun can aggravate it, so we've been looking for sun glasses to help a sister out. Plus we don't want to stop our wonderful walks.
While these are pretty dang cute, none of them really fit her face. Plus she is all grabby these days so I think we need the kind that attach all the way around the head! We'll see!
Oh, please let me know if you have found a cure all for clogged tear ducts!

Laughing

I could say this is Ava laughing because she's the only one you see but we are all laughing! Ava found Kensie and her pencil hilarious the other night. She laughed for quite a while before we decided to pull out any recording devices so this is toward the end of the laughing fit!

HAPPY EASTER!!!!

And here we have our Easter decorations! I saw it in Better Home and Garden. They had cuter plants and cacti though. All I had on hand was wheat berries. Hee Hee! It turns out my red food coloring is more of an orange and my purple was pretty brownish. It's fun to color just the shell because then it colors the inside and out. Thanks Marin for the dirt!

Growing up, Easter was a perfect excuse for mom to make us all dresses (back then it was cheaper). I loved getting new dresses that were covered in pretty spring flowers. (I was about to publish this post when I thought of a few pictures I thought would be funny to share. Here are Natalie's Easter dresses through the years. I don't know how to use our scanner so I took a picture of the photos from my scrapbook with my camera, so they are a little weird)
Natalie and Arick, my oldest sister, out on the swing set. I still have that goofy smile. It's almost like someone said "Natalie show me all the teeth in your mouth" and then I did it while smiling.
We actually got bunnies for Easter!!! Leslie trying to keep her bunny in, Natalie worried about her new gift and Deirdre able to keep her bunny in.
Here we are with animals again. Natalie with the freakin chicken. Who cuddles with chickens? I do I guess! Leslie with Bobby (my cat), Deirdre holding a chicken the way they should be held and Steven our neighbor with Molly.
Here's the dress with all the spring flowers on it! I loved that dress!

Here's Ava in her Easter dress. It's not new though, she has too many dresses to justify getting her a new Easter dress. (these were part of the original post)

Reaching for the camera (her newly learned skill). Notice the open mouth ready for insertion?

Hanging out

We do this a lot!
Watching movies at home, playing games in the living room or attempting to watch a tv show on the computer. This is what we do on a lazy evening.
I feel like I have a lot of pictures of Ava and not too many of the two of us so here we are!
And...here SHE is!!!These are my favorite PJ's. Amanda's Mom Colleen got them for her. I love how fitted they are!

She loves the flash!

Another bathtime

Sorry there are so many pictures of my naked baby girl, she is just so fun to watch in the water!
Her new big thing in the bath is sucking on the washcloth. Watch what she does.

It's like she sucks on it for a second forgets what it is she's sucking on and has to pull it out and check. Soooo funny!
"You want to try mom?"
Notice she's holding it with her hands and feet!

We've got HAIR people!

Flowers and leaves are not the only things growing in this spring! Ava is growing hair! No, it's not thick yet but we are all pulling for her!

Breakfast Delight!

Remember this post! Cameron decided to try it in muffin tins (like popovers) this is how it turned out!
German pancake in a muffin!
Sooo good with syrup and honey!

Random pictures of Ava...kind of!

I had to take a close up so no one was exposing anything they should not. This is Ava's new thing she does when I'm feeding her. The hands just start wandering and this time they found my nose!
Trooper found the warmest spot in the house. Right on the sleeping Ava! Plus I'm sure he was tired of girl getting all the attention.

Ava and her Dad

I found these shots on my phone! Here's Ava hanging out with her Dad. They are one of a kind!

Seattle Symphoney

A friend in our ward had tickets to the Seattle Symphony that they could not use so we made our third trip to Seattle in one weekend to enjoy the beautiful music of Handel and Bach it was amazing! If you can't see it we got to hear Handel's Water Music, which is fantastic!
Our program for the night
Here's a shot of the pipe organ I took for my sister Leslie. She is an organ master!
