Sloane and Tess - 3 months old

These girls are growing way to fast! They are both getting not so "newborn floppy". Tess is getting better at tummy time but Sloane has really dominated in this area. She can hold her head up so it's perpendicular to the floor. I've never had a baby be able to do that.

Sloane is showing signs of being ticklish, which is soo fun!

Tess loves to make eye contact and flash you a big smile. It seems she smiles with her whole body!

They are bothe getting better at sleeping through the night. They love their pacifiers but neither are good at keeping it in their mouths. Like their sister Lacey I have to strap it in with a burp cloth.

The week before turning three months I was burping them on my chest, one on each side of me, when they made eye contact with each other. They then took turns smiling at each other, first Tess and then Sloane and then Tess again. I felt so blessed that I got to be a part of that special moment they had together. It was so sweet seeing them communicate to each other through smiles. Gives me encouragement that I'm doing a good job.

These sweet girls are a lot of work but I couldn't imagine life without them. They both have sweet spirits and beautiful faces.

It's so fun to be a mother of twins. It is double the smiles, cuddles and poopy diapers (which only seem to happen about once a week now). I feel so blessed to be a mother to Sloane and Tess.
