Freezer Jam

The blackberries around here are crazy! They grow everywhere! Kensie's first Sunday we went with Jessica Bean and picked a few. Cameron made a yummy cobbler that night and then the next day Kensie and I made freezer jam! Yummy!
I took this picture on a walk and emailed it to my Mom. Both she and my Dad LOVE berries. If they are both able to come for Peanuts arrival I hope the berries are still be around!
A few right? Yea right that bowel is huge.

Oooo that jam looks nice!

KENSIE

Welcome to Seattle Kensie!

My youngest sister Kensie has come to visit for a little bit! She just got her cosmetology license and decided she wanted to put it to good use here in the Seattle area. We are so happy to have her. Thanks AZ Fam for sharing!Kensie came on the 29th and her birthday was the 26th so we wanted to do a little celebrating with her!
She loved getting a Happy Birthday song from all the folks at Red Robin! Thanks Red Robin for the free birthday burger!
There is nothing better then a funfetti cake with funfetti frosting! We did not realize there were THAT many candles!

She was sure it was going to be all sad and rainy when she got here because that's what everyone in AZ thinks of Seattle! She was pleasantly surprised!
On the hunt for a job in Downtown Bellevue!

I Love this picture!

I got this picture from my sister's blog and I think it is just hilarious. Half the pictures of my Dad he has his eyes closed so this is the complete opposite. Hope you had a happy birthday Dad and Kensie (Kensie was Dad's best birthday gift)! That's Jack there are the bottom!

LDS Night at Safco Field

For the benefit of all the cheap members in the area the Mariners have a LDS Night with half price tickets!

I brought a dead camera so this is the extent of the pictures I got! We actually went with a real fun group of friends but could not keep the camera on long enough to get a group shot.
Thanks JR for helping us get the tickets!
I stole this from Stephanie's blog!

Bunnies

I grew up raising bunnies so there is a special place in my heart and in my voice. When ever I see them my voice gets all high pitch-y! Not sure what that's about! Anyways, these are a few bunnies I ran into at Cameron's work. They even let me pet them. I just Love!

Lake Chelan (trip II)

Cameron called me from work and said "lets go meet up with the Beans at Lake Chelan tonight." So...I got things packed up and when he got home we headed out! Here are a few pictures of the drive and of our trip!

We drove through the clouds!
We stopped to say hi to the Mt. goats in Leavenworth! (this was just off the main street)

At the Lake on Wednesday!
Cameron tackling the buoy. The buoy won!
Cameron having too much fun playing badmiton.
Geoff and Cameron
Natalie and Peanut at the Lake. Like my red sandals?
Cameron nodding off on the boat ride around the lake. Natalie capturing it with the camera!
Unloading the boat with Hilary, Sarah, (Rose is behind Sarah) Tim, Cameron and Geoff!

EMP in Seattle

I went to the Experience Music Project in Seattle on the first Thursday of the month (because that's when it's free). Cameron actually went with his work to see the exhibit of Jim Henson's Fantastic World, plus he was sick so I went with our friends the Nylands, Marin and family! The exhibit had actually reached it maximum capacity before we got there but we hung out and saw a few other things and then after a bit enough people had left that we could go in and see the Jim Henson's exhibit (no pics of that -not allowed).

Closest I've been to the space needle. You can see the edge of the EMP building there to the right. It's super crazy looking. Sorry I did not get a picture of it. The building is actually supposed to look like a smashed guitar.
Tower of musical instruments. It's over two stories tall!
Tribute to Micheal Jackson! Here we are standing next to his sequin glove and jacket. The jacket is surprisingly small!
